Join Ghosts, Goblins and Other Characters at the 1st Annual Halloween Hustle 5K, Kid’s Dash
On Saturday, October 30, 2016, this festive event will be held at Veteran’s Park. Participants are invited to wear their Halloween costumes; proceeds will benefit Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful.
July 5, 2016 (VMPR) – Milwaukee, WI. Grab your favorite Halloween costume and register now to participate in the 1st annual Halloween Hustle 5K Fun Run and Kid’s Dash. This festive event is set for Saturday, October 30 at Milwaukee’s Veteran’s Park.
In addition to walkers and runners, parents with children in strollers and even the family dog (and their owners) are invited to get in on the fun! For serious runners, the 5K will be timed; timing chips will be attached to the back of the race bib.
“We’re excited to be bringing the Halloween Hustle to Milwaukee for its inaugural year,” said Aaron Del Mar, founder of Adrenaline Sports Management (ASM), the company that produces the event. “It’s a great way to enjoy some healthy fun while celebrating Halloween with family and friends.”
All adult 5K runners and walkers will receive a long-sleeved dri-fit shirt, and finisher medals will be given to those who complete the course. Kid’s Dash participants will receive a cotton youth t-shirt, race bib, trick-or-treat bag and a pumpkin at the finish line.
Awards will be given to the top placers in all age and male/female divisions, in addition to best individual and group costume at an after party following the fun run and walk.
Event proceeds will benefit Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful, a non-profit dedicated to community improvement projects and environmental education programs. To learn more, visit KGMB.org.
