Celebrate Christmas in July with Atlantic City’s Inaugural Santa Hustle!

Join the 5K, 9K or 12K and Kids’ Rudolph Run Sunday, July 23 in Brighton Park. Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May counties is the charity partner.

Atlantic City, NJ – Deck the palms with boughs of holly during the Santa Hustle Atlantic City 5K, 9K, 12K and Kids’ Rudolph Run. This inaugural family-friendly event will take place at Brighton Park, beginning at 7 a.m. for the 12K, 7:15 a.m. for the 9K, 7:30 a.m. for the 5K and the Kids’ Run will take place at 9:30 a.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the charity beneficiary, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May Counties – a nonprofit organization whose goal is to ensure each child in their programs achieves success in their lives, through an array of services.

Cookie and candy stations, along with holiday music and cheer, will abound along the course. Immediately following the event, participants can jingle all the way to an on-site awards ceremony!

Individuals who register now through Thursday, June 22 can take advantage of special pricing, which will save them $15 off the race day price.

With registration, participants in the 5k, 9K and 12K will receive a dri-fit tank top or short sleeved t-shirt, a wicking headband and a Christmas in July themed finisher medal. A Mrs. Claus package and Santa shirts are also available for purchase during registration. Kids who participate in the Rudolph Run will receive a tank top, race bib and finishers medal.

“We’re thrilled to host this event to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters, and invite area residents to join us for a day of fun and fitness,” said SHRS race founder Aaron Del Mar. “This family-friendly event will create lasting memories while supporting area children in their future endeavors.”

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May Counties will be hosting a Back to School Drive during the event to provide children with school supplies and set them up for a successful school year. In addition to school supplies, race participants are also asked to donate a reusable water bottle for area school children.
