Description: Seeking female/male/transgender actors, ages 18-22, to be featured in an upcoming video aimed at promoting careers in local government. These roles are not paid, although once completed, video clips will be provided to actors to add to their growing portfolios. Snacks and beverages will be provided during shooting, which will take approximately two hours for each actor.
Compensation: Food and beverages, plus access to video files for video reels will be provided.
Role Information: Local government has some exciting opportunities, and this video will assist in promoting them! Actors will portray individuals in late high school years/early college years who are considering their future careers.
Shooting Information: Casting will be completed by mid-Shooting will occur toward the end of September, throughout August (by availability; 2 hours per person) in the Arlington Heights/Palatine area. Actors will be scheduled in pairs.
Additional Details: The video will be shown throughout high schools and colleges in Illinois, and potentially nationwide. Company states: “We are looking for actors to create a sense of community within our video in order to reach young adults who can lead communities. Diversity in our acting pool is strongly encouraged. The video will follow a ‘continued conversation’ structure.”
